About Giovanna
Giovanna is deeply passionate about teaching the benefits of yoga in connection to neuroscience. emotional regulation and philosophy. She discovered yoga in 2010 while living in New York City. Yoga became a space to slow down and reconnect to herself among a city full of movement, life and everlasting energy. In 2016, she relocated to Portland and in that transition deepened her practice to stay with intuition and find community. She has a 300 hour YTT certification in trauma informed yoga and is currently engaged in a master’s degree program for Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Yoga in the forms of asana, meditation, breath work, dharma and mantra chanting are a rich part of her life and can be experienced in her offerings. You can expect creativity, humor, informational nuggets of wisdom and an open heart from her.
offerings in March
Giovanna will be offering 3 yoga explorations, offered freely, on March 12th, 19th and 26th. She is interested in creating a space where there are guided insights, asana practice and some time to cultivate intuitive movement. This will be a graciously held container where you will engage with your bodies in intentional ways. The first 40 minutes will include a warm up with prop integration, vinyasa style flow and the final 20 minutes will wind down with restorative postures. There will be some intuitive creativity woven in, as well as an opportunity to provide optional feedback as she works towards unique offerings for future events.
